Information
Hydrostatic Transmission (2-Range HST)
The hydrostatic transmission (2-range HST) uses hydraulic pressure to change speed, operating similar to a vehicle. You'll only need to stop moving if you want to change your range. This is a good transmission choice if you're doing frequent front-end loader work, mowing or clearing brush as you maneuver through wooded areas. Its ease of operation also makes it a good choice for novice drivers. Forward and reverse are controlled by foot pedals. Read more about all Bobcat compact tractor transmission options.
Independent PTO
Independent power take-off (PTO) allows you to simply flip a switch to engage or disengage the PTO without stopping the tractor or using the clutch. This comes in handy for tasks that require frequent stopping and restarting of your implement, including moving from one hole to the next as you use the auger.?
Power Take-Off (PTO)
Till your garden and plant a spring food plot. Clear weeds from the ditches and pastures. Dig holes for fence posts or trees in all types of soil conditions. Mow your acreage in an afternoon. You can do it all with power take-off (PTO). Rear PTO is standard on all Bobcat compact tractors, and mid PTO is standard on select models and optional on all other models except 4000 Platform models with a manual transmission. PTO coupled with the three-point hitch allows you to operate numerous implements with ease.
Three-Point Hitch
The three-point hitch transforms your Bobcat tractor into a do-it-all machine to mow, till, grade a driveway, rake debris and weeds, move snow, and more. It’s compatible with all Category 1 implements and includes features that make it easy to hook up implements.
Three Tire Options
Different jobs require different tires to ensure you're getting the best performance from your tractor. Bobcat offers three tire options available for all Bobcat compact tractor models to match the work you do.
Agricultural Tires: these tough tractor tires have deep lugs for optimal traction and self-cleaning in soft soil and mud. They also deliver more power to the ground when towing heavy loads or pulling implements.
Turf Tires: Designed with less aggressive tread that minimizes disturbance on lush lawns and established landscaping when using your compact tractor.
Industrial Tires: Provide long wear and outstanding protection against punctures. The tread is wider than agricultural tires, and lugs are deeper than turf tires. They deliver great traction for all ground conditions and many different applications.
Maximum Maneuverability
Every day brings a new challenge on the farm or acreage. Bobcat compact tractors offer maximum maneuverability to take on those challenges. Dimensionally well balanced with a tight turning radius – as little as 8 feet, depending on the model -- your Bobcat compact tractor is engineered to feel powerful and capable while being responsive to your control. A high minimum ground clearance enables you to keep working in uneven terrain and in wet, muddy conditions, and top travel speeds as high as 18.5 mph (depending on the model) help you cut travel time and focus on your work. The stable wheelbase maximizes towing capacity and optimally distributes weight to each wheel for more stability on hilly terrain. Select models also include steering brakes to assist in maintaining a tight turning radius, nearly pivoting the tractor on the inside wheel. (Available on models CT2025 and up, depending on transmission type).
Four -Wheel Drive
A hard-working tractor needs hard-working traction. All Bobcat compact tractors offer four-wheel drive so you can easily engage the system whenever the work demands it.
Roll Over Protective Structure (ROPS)
A ROPS, standard on all non-cab models, is designed to protect the operator in the event of a rollover (when the ROPS is locked in the up position and the seatbelt is fastened). The foldable ROPS can be temporarily lowered when driving under trees, into garages or in other low-clearance areas.
